Thorne Nature Preschool is a provider of Colorado’s Universal Preschool program.
What is Universal Preschool?
Universal Preschool (UPK) Colorado ensures that every child in the year before they are eligible for kindergarten can receive 15 hours of state-funded, voluntary preschool. Children with certain qualifying factors can receive up to 30 hours of care through UPK.

How does Universal Preschool work at Thorne Nature Preschool?
Colorado families can enroll their children at Thorne Nature Preschool and register with the state to receive funding to cover up to 15 hours of care as part of UPK. All children who will be four years old by October 1 of the current school year qualify to participate in the UPK through Thorne. Children with certain qualifying factors can receive up to 30 hours of care through the Universal Preschool program.
