Recycled Art Spring Mobile

 
 

Bring the Colorado spring feeling indoors with this flower mobile made from recycled egg cartons.

Materials Needed:

  • Egg carton

  • Scissors

  • Paints (we used watercolors)

  • Yarn or string

  • Push pin

  • Stick

Instructions:

Step 1: Cut egg carton into flower shapes.

Step 2: Paint flowers with bright spring colors. We used watercolors for ease of cleaning, but you can use any type of paint.

Step 3: Once dry, poke holes in the base of your flowers with something sharp like a push pin.

 
 

Step 4: Thread string through each flower, tying knots to hold them in place. Once you have several strings of flowers, tie strings onto your stick. Tie a string on to hang your mobile and enjoy this seasonal recycled art!
